COMEX is known to be the first experimental diving and engineering organization that partnered closely with Rolex to develop many advanced tool watches for their employees to use during underwater operations. Reference 1655 is estimated that only 300 pieces were produced, at which most collectors are pursuing due to its 600m depth rating and the exclusive “Pisani” dial custom made solely for COMEX.
Case: Show sign of wear with slight polish from previous; inner case back stamped ( 1665 along with full serial number matching with the case number
Dial: Excellent Condition Tritium Dial where the lumes have turned into creamy yellow color along with matching hands
